Equal punishment

How to satisfy people with different attitudes? The easiest way is "dissatisy all groups with equal amount". We rarely see people, who are not bothered about others happiness.
I am having one tamil friend. We both belong to south. He can't speak telugu and I cant understand tamil. I try to converse in english. But that fellow uses alien language "HINDI". I am not saying "HINDI" as alien language. I feel conversation in english will be more comfortable from his side. Another situation: in our company most of the people (i can say 'all' ) belong to southern region. But surprising thing is lunch will be served in northern style. The problem is people wont be happy seeing others happy. You can call this as equal punishment. Also, people cant accept other's attitudes & views. Even I !! Ofcourse every one's voice sounds right in their ears.
Anyways, this kind of decisions will not any problems.

saying alien to our national language justifies my conclusion that people from south in general don't feel like a nation.

The north Indian lunch in a company where most of the people are from south highlights poor management.

And most importantly, all people can't be plased at the same time.

I can not say poor management. People from south are having different attitudes and esp food habbits. Also, strong regional feelings will appear in southern states. May be it's a good idea to serve northen style lunch.

Sorry for using the word "alien".

Its good to be proud of u'r regional identity, culture, everyone is but that feeling does not hold good when it starts to surface above nation.

One saying in punjabi I would like to add here:
"When it comes to village, sacrifice u'r family,
when it comes to state,
sacrifice u'r village
and when it comes to nation, sacrifice everthing"
