Koti book bazaar is razed
"Hyderabad, Nov. 6: South India’s biggest second-hand book market in Koti was reduced to rubble by officials of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad on Monday. Armed with a High Court order, MCH officials, along with the police, enthusiastically pulled down 104 shops in the area, damaging books worth Rs 4 crore in the process."
"More than 500 people have been making a living for more than two decades in Koti by selling second-hand books, mostly to students of various ages."
