Importance of . (period)
whenever I look at mails from my friends, most of them compose mails without period after completing a sentence. Even if mails meant for friendly discussion or something, we should not neglect the importance of period. It will give good appeal to the reader. Many of my friends used to send mails like this:
Hi ra...
How are you...
here v r njoying a lot...
no mails from you...
bye..
------
Hi ra..
How r u?.. I am coming to bombay this weekend.. ok then catch u later...
bye
-------------
This is simply because of some kind of lazyness in composing mails or may be "... " indicates a short break in conversation. Yes right!! A short break in conversation.

yes what u pointed out is correct. and i think the reason for this is the internet lingo. most of the guys spend so much time chatting and orkutting that it gets into our system. long long back i stopped using any capitals at the beginning of the sentences. yeah u can say its laziness. but i have seen many professional bloggers use the correct form of the language.
won't enter a debate on what is right and what is not. in the end its just a matter of convenience.

IMO,humans in this internet age are habituated to do things @ SOL(speed of light), they want to complete the little work they do as fast as they can and shift to someother work, even it is orkutting, they dont mind spending(u can even call wasting time, but he is not sitting idle) hours seeing profiles etc. The same case is the SMS lingo, the recepient understands(human has brains) the matter.
