Respect things:

Many a times I am feeling disgusted while taking meals in bangalore hotels. Serving is a passion and ofcourse is an art. You should not force guests/customers to order several dishes for the sake of money. When I was in kakinada, one famous hotel I remember yes, "krishna vilas" famously known as "Subbiah hotel". Forget about taste, the way they ask, the way they serve is commendable. "sir, taste this one, don't try to eat all. just taste." "even if you dislike, just leave it. we dont bother". Ofcourse there is no need to comment on taste. In many bangalore hotels, when I order a side dish they will bring those just before completing my meal. I do not understand the meaning of serving when I encounter these type of situations. Serving papad/omlette while taking curd rice, placing low quality of tissue papers on the table, serving items in the center of palm leaves, moving hear and there without paying attention to customers are quite common in most of the luxury hotels. One more thing, putting finger bowl on the serving plate is horrible. Even though we are not caring about the cleanliness of the lower part of the bowl, we should respect and they should care about it. Ofcourse, people are just eating not tasting the food.

TWO TEA - FRUITY
Usually my slang is little bit different in the sense, I speak very fast. Even my mentor made a comment that whenever you speak I feel some chinese fellow is talking to me.

In our street most of the food stalls, grocery stalls, juice stalls etc were managed by keralites. Yesterday my friend & I went to a food stall. I ordered "TWO TEA". That fellow assumed "FRUITY". He gave one FRUITY. Again I told "DO CHAY" (in hindi). Now surprisingly he assumed "DO CHAHIYE". He gave one more FRUITY.

N. T. Rama rao in Ramudu Bheemudu.

Thursday, October 26, 2006

It's been a long time to look at this page.
If we dont' know what to do or othewise in a situation, where we not able to decide how to do, decisions will go round & round and believe me you will come out with nonsense.
Every Friday , I always think of planning this saturday & sunday should be more njoyable days. But never happens.
1. Anyways, last weekend is more or less ok. After a long time, I had to sit & watch a B&W Movie (Ramudu Bheemudu). The fact is I was out of my home this diwali. It was great fun and also I am watching this movie for first. There were lot of stories behind this movie. The asset of this movie is N.T.Rama rao. The kind of fun, story making, and innocence are simply superb.
2. If things are not turning right as I wish, I always screw them until the whole thing becomes useless. I always try to encourage linux and open source software even if I dont know very much or some times nothing. Also, some times in my room I try to use linux OS inorder to showoff my love with linux. We are having internet connection in our room. Because of viruses and also dislikeness towards MS Windows, I tried to configure internet in Linux. Tried, tried, and tired. So decided to format the system and install a fresh linux distro over that. Result is hard disk DAMAGE. Whenever some thing is NOT listening to your words, make it listen or else keep quiet. Dont' try to screw it.
3. These days I am listening some good music (Non-telugu). One of my colleague forces me to listen whichever song he likes very much. Even if I dont understand lyrics, he requests me to listen. Atleast the tune should be good to listen. Somehow I managed to skip. If you ask about me, I too always force my my friends to listen but only when the tune is good or atleast if there exist some kind of trick in that song. Anyways, these are the songs I liked: 1. alagiya asura, (Anuradha Preetham) from a Tamil Movie Whistle. 2. Partha Mudhal Nazhe (Bombay Jayshree) from a tamil movie Vettaydu Veliyadu. Especially the first one, alagiya asura, the female voice is too strange and nice to listen.

Importance of . (period)
whenever I look at mails from my friends, most of them compose mails without period after completing a sentence. Even if mails meant for friendly discussion or something, we should not neglect the importance of period. It will give good appeal to the reader. Many of my friends used to send mails like this:

Hi ra...
How are you...
here v r njoying a lot...
no mails from you...
bye..
------

Hi ra..
How r u?.. I am coming to bombay this weekend.. ok then catch u later...
bye
-------------
This is simply because of some kind of lazyness in composing mails or may be "... " indicates a short break in conversation. Yes right!! A short break in conversation.

Compensator Design:
System Type :
input = A/s^q ; System type = G/s^N;
If N = q-1 ; finite amount of steady state error.
N > q-1; zero steady state error.
N < q-1 steady state error is infinite.
'N' should be satisfied before getting into design details.

Open loop poles tend to repel the branches of the root locus and open loop zeros tend to attract the root locus. So a lead compensator [------x-----o---] will try to pull the root locus (poles sitting at origin)towards left half plane. Stability is improved.
Same case with lag compensator- [-----o-----x----] will push the root locus away from the left half plane.

Randummies:

I tried to publish one technical article to a magazine long back. Ofcourse I failed utterly to impress the reviewers. Ofcourse learned a lot.

Whenever you insert figure in your document, explain as much you can about the figure in the caption itself. This is very very useful and it will give very good feel to the reader.

Always use subtitle for any article you write. Like a punch caption for every movie title.

Avoid using "it, this, that".

Always use simple english.

.....
I usually to come to office by bus. So had to wait atleast 5-10 mins at the bus stop. Ofcourse cool time pass with the events happening at the junctions.

Look at the traffic constable. Especially, in bangalore they are hundred percent accurate in tracking vehicles. At any cost they will not allow any one to leave without paying fine.

"T"

The way ppl work in hotel are quite different and they do things with lot of patience. I particularly mention the person serving tea. I donno how many people used to drink chai at footpath stalls. Even if they are having 2-3 sq-ft space beside a dirty place they used to keep things and thier utensils clean if u observe closely. Clean in the sense they keep on rubbing the tables for every second. We can compare this situation with a fellow sitting infront of a computer. Irrespective of work we used to click refresh button.

Whenever I find time, I wish to do experiments in Kitchen. Yes. I really love to cook. Today I tried Upma. I never tried Instant mix. Before and while cooking the appealing and smell is good. But the taste is too bad to eat. Then I tried a different item, usually my mother prefers to cook this if nothing is available at hand. We say it DAL & RICE. It's look like pongal but the taste will be far different. Anyways, the final outcome will be nice to eat. I really cooked better and the taste is really nice. Ofcourse I can cook Tomato DAL (Every one loves to eat this), Drumstick + Tomato + Onions.

Here in bangalore, even if u go to good and cos restaurants the taste will be horrible. They even dont know how to cook rasam. Many people wil say SAMBAR means TAMIL sambar. But for me it doest sound that much good. Unknowingly one time I went to one tamil restaurant (Krishna Kafe, Bangalore) . There they were serving SAMBAR first. I suddenly surprised to see this. Every item is saltless. I dont now how could they eat food without salt.

Many hotels in bangalore were making money in the name of Andhra. Hav to go for lunch... sssss!

Motorrrr!!

During schooling (arnd 7th standard), I was very much fascinated by electronic gadgets. My benchmate removed one DC motor (at that time I donno what exactly a motor and how it will luk like...) from a remote controlled car and he showed me how the end of the motor will rotate when a battery is connected. I was just puzzled to see that magic. There were two leads came out (tiny leads..) from that motor and without knowing whether the leads are conneting to the batter or not? I was just closing the motor circuit with a battery until the shaft rotates. Simply crazy. From then, I start playing with motors, connecting pulleys, desiging funny cars. You know, I haven stolen one motor from my school. Actually the motor is embedded in a toy. Ofcourse, I am not a good theif.

I love to see myself a smart thief !

Needless to say !!

Surprisingly hit !
Quite confused how to start ! Ok. Let's first get in and find. This is particularly targetting few directors in Telugu film industry, who stupidly scripted and surprisingly come out with great flicks.
  1. The first : "Choodalani vundi" *ing by Chiranjeevi. Directed by Gunasekhar. Except some good songs, the movie has nothing to watch. But with this, Guna bagged lot of credit.
  2. The second : "Manoharam" *ing Jagapathi babu, Laya, Prakash Raj. Directed by Gunasekhar. Laya's performance is awesome but I see no work or novelty from Gunasekhar in projecting patriotism.
  3. The third : "Okkadu" *ing Mahesh Babu, Bhumika, Prakash Raj. Directed by Gunasekhar. Guna is on cloud nine after this flick. I have no words to comment on this. Even Manoharam is far better than this. I donno how the director presumed prakash raj is a suitable opponent for mahesh. Stupid thinking. Now let's come to other side.
  4. Movie : "Anand" *ing Raja, Kamalini Mukharjee. Directed by Sekhar Kammula. I am neither peer reviewer nor a director to comment on this. Why the dialogue writers inclined to Enlglish type telugu slang. Even comedy mixed with double meaning one's are better. Atleast we can proudly feel the lang'ge is not adulterated with alien lang'ges. After this movie many films came on the same line. Ohh God ! how can I forget this one !!
  5. Movie : "Arya" *ing Allu arjun, umm I donno the girl's name. Directed by Kusumar. A lot to say on this. I feel criticising on some issue means it has some content. So I don't want to comment on this. U can assume the level of this.
I will add some more flicks, went wrong at the box office.
I will tell u why they are !!

    Weak Point !

During my post-graduation, we used to go computer center after the end of morning lecture. One of my classmate is very interested to do instant messaging for hours, in particular with girls. Taking this weakpoint as an advantage my friend created a profile (ramya) and had a conversation with him for months. Ofcourse this may be happened for many guys I know !

The surprising thing is he must have noticed the time. Becoz both these guyz have to attend classes at same timings and also come to computer centre at same timings. And also the funny thing is, this buddy "Harish" used to sit just beside to his desk. (It's an open environment).

One day what happend, another buddy (Ram mohan) suddenly had a glimpse at this conversation and shouted "Hey hari, who is this Ramya?". The next moment the other guy on the conversation turned RED and never talked to "Harish". We used to laugh forever and ever.

Thanks buddy for such type of funny things. .
Incompleteness does have an upside: It is a happy indication that the field is still alive and producing new and interesting stuff daily.

    of the SELF
I read this article in Scientific American magazine (SCIAM). It seems interesting and also gives a intutive feel whoever reads.
I strongly wish to express the beauty of this article in layman terms.
These are the excerpts from the article:

The most obvious thing about yourself is your self. "You look down at your body and know it's yours. You know it's your hand and you're controlling when you reach out. When you have memories, you know that are yours and not someone else's. When you wake up in the morning, you don't have to interrogate yourself for a long time about you are"

The self may be obviousm but it also an enigma.

"Several brain regions have been found to respond differently to information relating to the self than they do to information relating to others, even to very familiar others. For instance, such regions may be more active when people think about their own attributes than when they think about the characteristics of other individuals. These regions could be part of a self-network."

Ofcourse the contemporary researchers are not in agreement with this statement.

" The sight of someone being touched made her feel as if someone were touching her in the same place on her own body. She thought every one had that experience." - One research scholor experience.
Even we feel the same. isn't it??
    Why Happy Endings ?

I dont know why people still love to see movies with traditional perspective. Still people in some countries, especially India prefer message oriented films. I am not saying to go directors with crazy & violent ideas. But the ideas, creativity, and novelty come only when there is a twist in the tale. In india, especially south india most of the movies go with happy endings. May be in spectator point of view, director leaves them without much confusion and we can say without much irritation. And ofcourse, it's very difficult to interleave the relationships. I am not indifferent with sentimental things. But they should go right or else they should not be touched. Some times my flatmates shout "Are u with killer instinct?". no., I am not.

Another important point to notice is, the director projects the opponent with killer instinct without much intelligence. This is damn stupid thing which I suppose all the directors follow. They should project some native skill in another dimension. Some times they simply show the dark face of the villian by killing others stupidly. Even the spectators get the feel of villian. I am surprised to see this. Simply stupidity.
    Killing Hearts !

If some one wants te become a public icon for some days, make a lil bit open statements. Ofcourse, even if every one knows that but they wont agree the same in public. The same thing happened with Kushbu couple of months back. May be there is nothing wrong in it. But the idea behind is to become a public icon.

If you ask any director "Have you seen this movie, which was making waves in the film industry?". He will answer in a wrong way to make some thing ripple. But ofcourse and it is damn sure they will keep an eye on every thing that is going behind their lines.

At the same time they keep on following others even if they wont agree at any time.

    Killing their own hearts !!
